Artist’s Code
of Honour.

§ Why this exists

MTHRBORD is more than a music label. We are a community of like-minded underground artists and enjoyers who created events such as ENTER THE VOID, VOID TV, VOID CITY, and more. Since we have many people involved in many of our projects we aim to protect the community and encourage growth and respect to all. For this reason we have a code of honour for all future and current creative members.

§ The Code

These are the principles that protect the ecosystem we are building together — for artists, designers, video artists, and everyone who creates with the community.

§ Honour

Honour is the foundation of this community. Gossip, slander, and public drama have no place here. Disagreements are resolved privately between the people involved. Choosing dishonour is choosing to remove yourself entirely from the community. It is a choice. Honour protects the environment that allows everyone to continue creating together.

§ Founders

Respect {em}the founders.{/em}

MTHRBORD exists because someone chose to build it. The founders of MTHRBORD are to be treated with respect. They built and continue to maintain the platform that brings everyone together. Their responsibility is to protect the future of MTHRBORD and the ecosystem that has grown around it. Generosity should never be mistaken for obligation.

Visual artists, designers, and video artists are an essential part of every release. Their work deserves recognition, appreciation, and respect. The visual identity of a release is as important as its music.

§ Artists

Respect {em}the artist.{/em}

The artist is the source of every release. Their vision, creativity, and dedication deserve recognition, appreciation, and respect. Without the artist, there is no music to bring people together.

§ The work

Respect {em}the complete work.{/em}

An album is never the work of one person alone. The music, the visual art, the video, and every contribution together form one complete work. Every part of that work is treated with care, integrity, and respect. Respect creates growth. Without it, there is no future.

§ Reciprocal

Respect is {em}reciprocal.{/em}

The respect given is the respect received. No more. No less. Every member of MTHRBORD is held to the same standard.

§ Ownership

The music belongs to {em}the artist.{/em}

One hundred percent of streaming revenue from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, and Deezer belongs to the artist. MTHRBORD exists to create, not to own music on those platforms. This is completely fair.

§ Reinvest

{em}The Foundation.{/em}

Revenue from physical releases and label activities is reinvested into future creations and the continued growth of MTHRBORD. This is how the ecosystem endures. The long-term survival of MTHRBORD benefits everyone because it creates future opportunities, future shows, new moments, meaningful connections, and a place where creativity can continue to thrive.

§ The organization

MTHRBORD is an underground organization. Every second, every decision, and every ounce of energy is used to ensure the community lasts. Matters concerning the label’s operations and finances remain private — not to create secrecy, but to protect trust, preserve the space, and allow everyone to focus on creating.

MTHRBORD is NOT the answer for any one individual. We are not a traditional label. It is a place where artists, designers, video artists, and creators plant seeds together. Some seeds become collaborations. Some become friendships. None of them exist without the garden.

§ Shared responsibility

{em}The cost{/em} of conflict.

The community survives through respect, honour, and shared responsibility. The cost of conflict is rarely paid by the people causing it. It’s paid by everyone who believes in the space.

To be part of MTHRBORD is to understand that you share the responsibility of protecting the ecosystem and, if possible, leave it healthier than you found it.
